Street Mind UK is committed to transforming the lives of young adults who are involved in crime and/or have grown up in deprived communities by empowering them with the tools for lasting personal change and success. Through bespoke range of workshops in education, personal development, and skill-building, we foster a growth-orientated mindset that will open doors to meaningful employment. By offering mentorship and guidance, we support individuals on their continued journey to reintegration, helping them build a strong foundation for personal growth and a positive role within society.
Video CV
We help participants enhance workforce readiness by creating bespoke video CVs. While traditional CVs are important, video CVs allow participants to showcase their story, strengths, and motivations directly to employers. Video profiles provide a unique opportunity to demonstrate qualities that increase employment prospects and showcase individual aspirations.
Innovative Workshops
We offer various workshops including vision board and finance, which will focus on positive habit development. These workshops will gently introduce mindset shifting, helping participants visualize their future goals and explore career and personal ambitions.
Mentorship for Success
We connect youth with lived experienced mentors who provide guidance and support throughout their journey towards employment. The Mentorship Programs for young people are a transformative initiative aimed at helping participants break free from gang influences. It focuses on shifting mindsets, fostering positive lifestyle changes, and supporting long-term personal and professional development
Job Placement Services
Our employment partner (FPRuk) assists young adults in finding suitable job opportunities and developing their careers. We host an Employment Fair which offers young people a chance to connect with potential employers, explore job opportunities, and gain insights into various career paths. The event brings together interactive sessions, workshops, and networking. The fair helps build professional relationships and provides guidance to help participants envision and pursue successful careers.
Mindset
A key focus of our program is shifting the mindset of young adults. This is our top priority empowering them to believe in themselves and make the necessary changes to confidently pursue and achieve their personal and career goals.
Motivational Leaders
We have a diverse group of speakers who share their powerful stories and insights. Lived Experiences: Personal accounts of navigating prison, crime, and gang life, and Business and Entrepreneurship: Motivational stories from accomplished business owners and entrepreneurs. Attendees will leave with valuable insights on overcoming adversity, transforming lives, and the key principles of success.
